July 1, 2024: China’s consular jurisdiction in the U.S. has been reorganized. No worries — Jinqiao will continue to serve all 50 states as before.

April 2025: Processing Times
• China visa: approx. 2 weeks
• Apostille: 2–4 weeks
• U.S. Dept. of State Apostille: Standard 4–6 weeks, Expedited 2–3 weeks -
Jan 1, 2024: Tourist (L) visa no longer requires flight or hotel proof.

July 22, 2020: The Houston consulate was closed. Related services are now handled by the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. (Jinqiao D.C. office has been serving since 2013)
🇨🇳 China Visa Application Requirements
We assist with 10-year multiple-entry visas.
• Consular fee: $140 (U.S. passport)
• Our service fee: $150
Basic Required Documents:

COVA Application Form: Complete online, save as PDF, print & sign (Sign on Page 7, Section 9.1A)

COVA Confirmation Page: Signed hardcopy

Original passport (valid for at least 6 months, with at least 2 blank visa pages)

Copy of passport information page
-
One recent color photo (2×2″, taken within 6 months, same as uploaded photo)
If photo uploads successfully and confirmation page is in color, no paper photo needed

Copy of most recent China visa and the passport it was issued in

Old passport if valid China visa is still in it

For former Chinese nationals (including HK/Macau/Taiwan) applying for the first time:

Last Chinese passport (original + 2 copies of ID page)

Naturalization certificate copy

Last exit date from China (write on your naturalization certificate copy)

Name change documents (if applicable)

If passport is expired or lost, provide a declaration form

If previously held a Chinese visa:

Handwrite old Chinese passport number and Chinese ID number in section 1.6H of the printed form

Business Visa (M): Employer invitation letter

📝 How to Apply – Step-by-Step

Submit Your Jinqiao Online Order Form
➤ Create a new order via our website and print the confirmation page. It will include:
• Your order number
• Mailing address
• Payment instructions (credit card, Zelle, etc.) -
Complete the COVA Visa Application
➤ Use our filling instructions to avoid errors.
➤ Do not submit the form online yet. Send us your Application ID & passport number via email for a pre-check before submission.Pre-check is included in the service fee and helps prevent costly mistakes.

Mail Your Documents to Us
➤ Use FedEx or a trackable courier.
➤ Keep copies of passport and visa pages before sending.
➤ Make sure all documents are single-sided prints. -
We Handle the Rest

We’ll review your documents, submit to the appropriate consulate, and track your case.

You’ll receive three status emails:

When we receive your package

When we submit to the consulate

When we ship your passport/visa back to you

We’ll return your passport via FedEx 2-Day once issued.
